Jennifer Grohol | History & Social Studies Instructor |

I am very excited to be teaching at the Purple Lotus School. I was born in the Bay Area and studied at San Francisco State University, receiving my Masters of Art in History. After graduation I began my career as an educator by teaching History at Monterey Peninsula College and Hartnell College, both community colleges that have deep roots in their surrounding communities.

While at Purple Lotus School I will be teaching Modern World History, Social Studies and Geography. I am excited to contribute to the school’s mission of healthy mind, body and spirit by enriching the students’ mind and expanding their paradigms. I am excited to work with the faculty, staff, and especially the students at Purple Lotus School because of the unique energy that students bring to an institution. Students who are eager to learn can achieve almost any height, I enjoy working with the kids to make those goals a reality.

In my free time I enjoy reading, and running. I have completed three marathons, and I am training for a fourth.
